As a busy working mom, I tried to find peace in the stillness of meditation but it just didn’t “work” for me.

I continued to struggle to meditate and find that “inner Buddha-licious feeling.”

And then I found breathwork.

Or perhaps, the intentional breath found me.

It’s my anchor to a transformative awareness of feeling safe, seen, and secure.

It continues to be my anchor when the human mind we are born into just wants to do what it just wants to DO, BE reactive and on autopilot. 

Breathwork can be your anchor in any situation you may be reacting to, too.

I like to describe Breathwork as a method to access transformative awareness. Through using a breath pattern in a continual practice, the thinking mind (what Buddha calls the jumping monkey)  is more quiet. In this more quiet mind or embodied state, tension (emotions in the body we hold on to) in our energetic body is able to surface and be released. This unblocks the creative potential where new thoughts and new ideas can emerge.
